Randi A. Galli, MD, FACS

Dr. Randi Galli is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. A member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society that comprises the top ten percent of medical students, Dr. Galli received his Medical Degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. In the junior year of medical school, one honors scholarship is awarded by the Alpha Omega Alpha Society to the top student in the class based on academic accomplishment, involvement in research, etc.  Dr. Galli was awarded that honors scholarship for his junior class. 

Dr. Randi Galli is one of our most senior physicians at the Regional Hand Center. With over 20 years of clinical experience, he is a source of knowledge for our skilled team and a favorite of many patients for his remarkable outcomes and meticulous approach.

Certifications

In order to maintain, Dr. Galli’s prestigious certifications require a wide knowledge base and an ongoing dedication to surgical excellence and education. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also certified for the Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Surgery.

Education

Dr. Galli received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine where he became a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society for the top 10% of medical students around the country. From there, he completed a residency in General Surgery at the Universities of California in Los Angeles and San Diego. He also completed a second residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Tulane Medical Center. Finally, he completed his fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Experience

Dr. Galli has been in practice for over two decades and has an excellent reputation for helping patients navigate complex injuries with his reconstructive knowledge. He is known for being extremely meticulous and taking time with his patients to find the most accurate diagnosis before performing complex surgical procedures. Finally, he provides industry knowledge and extensive experience to the rest of our team of hand surgeons and specialists.

Leisure

Dr. Galli enjoys traveling with his wife and five children, as well as tennis, computer technology, and the performing arts.
