Ileana Cervantes obtained her Masters degree as a physician assistant through Western University of Health Sciences and is a certified physician assistant through the National Commission on certification of Physician Assistants since 2005. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Ileana grew up in Santa Maria, California and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Dominguez Hills State University. Fluent in Spanish, Ileana has training in family practice, urgent care and Workers’ Compensation injuries. She regularly attends conferences regarding hand surgery from the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She works closely with her supervising physician when providing care to patients with diverse hand injuries and assists in the operating room in complex cases.
