Ileana Cervantes obtained her Masters degree as a physician assistant through Western University of Health Sciences and is a certified physician assistant through the National Commission on certification of Physician Assistants since 2005. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Ileana grew up in Santa Maria, California and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Dominguez Hills State University. Fluent in Spanish, Ileana has training in family practice, urgent care and Workers’ Compensation injuries. She regularly attends conferences regarding hand surgery from the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She works closely with her supervising physician when providing care to patients with diverse hand injuries and assists in the operating room in complex cases.
Eric Wagoner obtained his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies through Loma Linda University. He is a certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has also obtained certification through an orthopedic surgery residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in southern California focusing on acute trauma and management of common orthopedic conditions. Born in Modesto, California, Eric earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Human Factors and Mechanical Engineering through the United States Military Academy at West Point continuing on to serve as an officer in the United States Army Infantry for eight years. He has continued his medical education to further specialize in disorders of the upper extremity through conferences and current journals. He works closely with his supervising physician as a team in order to provide optimal and timely care for all patients in the operating room and in clinic. He is married and enjoys a variety of sports including triathlons, swimming, biking, tennis and volleyball, as well as a practicing hobbyist carpenter.
Roy Ouano is a board-certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a Certificate with Added Qualification in Emergency Medicine. He was born and raised in Cebu, Philippines and obtained his degree in Physician Assistant studies in 1996 through Saint Louis University where he graduated with honors. Roy continued his studies and obtained a Certificate in Occupational and Environmental Medicine through Duke University and a Master’s in Business Administration in Health Care Management through the University of Phoenix. He continues to further specialize in Disorders of the Hand working closely with our hand surgeon’s, assisting in complex procedures, and attending conferences in Hand Surgery. He works closely with his supervising surgeons and advocates for the best care provided in a timely manner for all his patients. As a true patriot, Roy continues to serve as a reserve Medical Officer in the United States Army. Roy is married and enjoys all types of outdoor activities with his family.
