Ileana Cervantes is a physician assistant who works closely with our team of supervising physicians to provide exceptional care to patients. She specializes in diverse hand injuries and assisting our hand surgeons in the operating room with complex cases.Education and Certification

Education and Certification

Ileana earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the Dominguez Hills State University. She then attended Western University of Health Sciences where she received her master’s degree as a physician assistant. Since 2005, she has been a certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She  stays inform of new and emergent treatments for hand and upper extremity by being part of the AAHS and attending hand and upper extremity courses yearly.About Ileana Cervantes

About Ileana Cervantes

Ileana was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and then grew up in Santa Maria, California.  She played sports growing up and is familiar with injuries and understands the eagerness to return to play.

 She is fluent in Spanish and during her education underwent training in urgent care, Worker’s Compensation injuries, and family practice. She is a passionate patient advocate.  She enjoys patient education and interaction. 

When not in the office you will find Ileana camping, hiking, biking, and riding her motorcycle.  She enjoys traveling, coaching soccer, and spending time with her family. Schedule an Appointment
